Last Song brings tears to eyes

It looks like some sappy, coming of age, love movie, I know.
I thought the exact same thing when I went into the theater.
It didn’t look original at all. Turns out “The Last Song” is
much more than that. It really connects with you and will
most likely get to you by the end.
The plot is about the stereotypical troubled teen nick-
named Ronnie who is shipped off to her father for the sum-
mer. Ronnie is a little less thrilled to be there than her
young brother is.
After a stroll on the beach, like in every love story, she
runs into her soul mate, Will. Of course it doesn’t work out
in the beginning considering he is perfect. Blonde hair, blue
eyes, attractive. Not everything can happen that easily.
They do have a few haters, Will’s best friend, ex-girlfriend,
and his mother. Eventually, Ronnie falls for it and they fall
deeply in love.
Everything appears to be perfect in her life, including her
relationship with her father. Not soon after her whole world
is changed once again 0when Ronnie finds about her father
has been diagnosed with cancer.
Multiple surprising secrets will be discovered throughout
the story line. The movie definitely has many twists but still
maintains a good, solid story line. I give it 7 out of 10 paws.
