From junior varsity to varsity girl’s basketball, the two teams have zero losses all together. The Varsity has four more games to be played and then sub-state starts.
The Junior Varsity team has been playing very well and are on their way to another undefeated season, with a record of 15-0. Their closest games have been within 20 points. Many of the girls off the JV team are playing Varsity as well. They are hoping to continue their undefeated season by playing Sabetha and Maur Hill next week. It would be the 2nd undefeated season in a row if they come out strong. The Varsity team is also undefeated at 16-0.
“We finally defined ourselves” Head Coach Jon Holliday, said after the girls won the Basehor-Linwood tournament.
The girls have two games next week against Sabetha and Maur Hill. They need to prepare for Sabetha, but Maur Hill should not be a problem. The Varsity team has an easy sub-state, and are hoping to come out of and make it to State for the 4th year in a row.
