In recent news a zoo profited $20,884 in reindeer dropping ornaments. I don’t know who would buy ornaments made from reindeer waste, but I also have a hard time understanding some of the sports stories that are making headlines. Here are just a few.
Gilbert Arenas brought guns into the locker room and justified it by saying he was trying to keep them away from his children. I guess a gun safe was too expensive for a multi-millionaire.
Dallas won a playoff game.
Three NFL wild-card games featured rematches of the week before. Two out of the three games ended with the same result.
Most will agree that Pete Carroll had built a dynasty at USC. He left USC to coach the Seattle Seahawks in what he considered a perfect job in the NFL. Let me say that again, the Seattle Seahawks. The 5-11 Seahawks over the college powerhouse USC.
Texas Tech University fired their coach Mike Leach for locking a player in a dark room.
My Chief’s correspondent Haley’s Comet is here for the latest and greatest of Kansas City.
Kansas City has now renamed their team the Chieftriots. They recently hired two former New England coaches, offensive coordinator Charlie Weis and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel.
Hopefully with these new improvements the Chiefs could be looking at a break out season, or something over .500.
The Chiefs have worked their plan to perfection this year by loosing enough games to get the fifth pick in the upcoming NFL draft. Maybe we’ll draft an exciting player this year, like another dominating defensive lineman from LSU.
Big thanks to the Kansas City wide receivers this year by setting the NFL record for most drop passes in a season.
