Is E-mail access open long enough?

E-mailing can get too out of hand, sometimes, but it could be helpful to students. Some kids need to get their assignment from a teacher or ask a friend for help on homework, but how can they do that without enough access to e-mail?

Most students use their e-mail use very wisely, so it isn’t a huge problem. E-mail is open during AEP and the first and last two minutes of every class. Two minutes is not very long at all to e-mail someone, especially if it’s more than one person or you have to think a little bit about what you’re going to type.

It is true that there are people that use e-mail just to talk to a friend but other people use it to communicate with their family members on something important or communicate with a teacher for an assignment. Sometimes, teachers are in the middle of teaching a class, so e-mailing is better than interrupting their class if they need to ask them a question.

E-mailing can be another source of communication instead of texting. Kids get in trouble for texting in class, but if you e-mail, teachers can easily just tell that kid to shut their computer. E-mailing doesn’t take but five to ten minutes of class so you can easily e-mail whoever you need then get back to your focus on class.
